Was waren die Highlights Ihres Urlaubs? Tägliches Frühstück und Mahlzeiten auf der Terasse vor dem Haus.
Wie war Ihr Gesamteindruck von der Unterbringung? Sehr gut. Das Haus hat genau auf die Bedürfnisse unserer Familie gepasst. Der Garten und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Im Haus selbst hätte es ein bisschen sauberer sein können. Im Bad hatte sich schon ziemlich Schimmelpilz gebildet.
Gab es unangenehme Überraschungen? Leider war kein DVD-Rekorder wie angegeben vorhanden. Zum Glück war das Wetter durchgehend gut, daß wir ihn nicht gebraucht haben.

What were the highlights of your holiday? Being so close to Siena, Castellina, Radda, San Gimingnano. Also having such a beautiful villa, being able to spend hours lounging around the pool and relaxing in the villa.
What was your overall impression of the accommodation?    the accommodation was perfect size for 8 people and great for families traveling with children. The villa was beautiful and clean, and had everything we needed.
Did you have any unpleasant surprises during your stay with us? Our vacation to Casino in Vescine was close to perfect, but there were a lot of bugs and insects.
Do you have any other comments regarding the accommodation or service? Overall incredible vacation and an absolutely beautiful villa.

What were the highlights of your holiday? Driving throughout Tuscany seeing the sights and enjoying the food and people were the highlights of our visit. When nearby the villa, we ate at the Castellina restaurants, enjoying the small village feel and delicious food. We stumbled upon a village celebration for children for Easter, we think, involving costumes and court jesters and arts and crafts, which the kids with us got to enjoy as well.
what was your overall impression of the accommodation?    The villa is very nice. It matched the description and pictures on your website. It was very clean and well-maintained. The owner and caretaker were very pleasant and helpful, despite the language differences. They were friendly and willing to show all of the contents of the villa and how things worked. They were organized and flexible, willing to meet us on Friday morning instead of Saturday morning to accommodate our travel plans.
Did you have any unpleasant surprises? There were no unpleasant surprises.
Do you have any other comments? We suggest that the owners consider having written directions in English (and other relevant languages), if possible, for how to work the dishwasher, washer, and central heating (maybe the stovetop and oven, too). They did provide written instructions in English for many policies and rules on what to do and not to do in the villa, but the booklet did not specifically contain any appliance instructions. Despite their efforts to instruct us verbally, though, (and our best efforts to understand), we never quite got the dishwasher to work properly. The washer worked fine, although it would have been handy to know in advance how long the process takes, given that it was about two hours and we are accustomed to machines that take 30 minutes to wash in the States. The heating system really cooked the second floor while we froze on the first floor. We're sure there was something that we didn't quite have set properly, and written instructions addressing the proper way to set the system would help. Also, the owner may want to lay in the second upstairs bedroom at night and listen for the "clicking" sound. We never saw an insect, although maybe there is something in the roof. We did not determine the source of the sound, although it occurred every night.

The owners have now put the manufacturers instruction manuals in to the villa for the various appliances so that guests can read them in whichever language they need. DD 04/09

We have just stayed at this villa a family get together 12th-19th July. All I can say is it was fantastic, it beat all our expectations. The whole family had a great holiday both at the villa and in the surrounding area. We would just like to thank you all, the cartaker could not speak any English,but got across all we needed to know and was very friendly. The only thing that we would have liked is a few supplies to keep us going for the first day as most of the food shops where closed on the sunday, and as you do not get into the villa till 16.00 we only had time to settle in on the saturday. [ To Tuscany comment: a 'starter pack' service is available to be ordered before arriving through To Tuscany] We look forward to booking through you again soon.

We really enjoyed our holiday and found the accomodation comfortable.
Two small problems our lack of italian made the details of the meter system unavailable, perhaps a note in English would help. I found 5!
Also the fridge themostat seems broken and the oven did not work and the electrical ring on the hob did not function. Minor details. [To Tuscany comment: New appliances have been added since the stay of MRS HONOR]
Perhaps english notes might help. But over all everything functioned well and our host were affable. Your web site is fine people want facts and all the details for our house were excellent. We found the house and locality lovely.
